I remember a time when I was little when my family and I went through a tornado. What struck me the most till this day is just how quiet everything was before it hit. In the area where we lived at the time, there were lots of crickets, frogs, birds and animals. Someone reminded me recently that there is new hope to be found even when it seems all hope is lost. I went to a funeral yesterday to say goodbye to an old friend, followed by a wedding, an new beginning in life. It struck me just how often in life people go through both pathways and cannot seem to find which way to turn for answers as to which way to go. I recently was thinking back on a song called when you believe. I love that song. The main theme is that there can be miracles when you believe. That is such a true message in life.
