I was confirmed in Church last Sunday. I love being an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In my confirmation blessing, the Bishop said I should study the Scriptures diligently (especially 3Nephi) and make this a time of preparation for what is to come.


The Bishop also said to me "Live in JOY". What a neat counsel! I'm sure that is what Jesus Christ would say to every one of us!

it is never easy

I was born and raised a member of the LDS church, I sometimes think this has got to be one of the hardest religions on earth.  People will either love the religion or hate it, there has been very few times when someone were neutral, and so it goes with being a member also.  I have lost many friends when they found out I was Mormon.  So many times I have had to defend the church and at times I wanted to apologize for the way I believed.   It has been an uphill battle many... Converts to the Church

I was writing back today to an e-mail I received from someone who has been a member of the church their entire lives.  In some ways I envy him.  He received a foundation that can be built on from his parents.  He received access to the teachings of the Prophets from the time he was born and he had access to so many peoples testimony. People who grow up in the church seem to have those family ties that stretch through the entire ward or across multiple wards.  When they go to... Read More

Returning To The Fold

So,
I have now learned that re-baptism is possible.
How do I feel?...relieved, grateful, lowly, ......
I need to stand up and be counted, but when will I move myself?
Maybe I will venture out to church again this coming Sunday, all I need is to be consistant in my endeavour.
Its so much easier to talk the talk, - I need to walk the walk too.
I mustnt look back, I must press forward.
But I know me!!.....procrastination is a hurdle not yet overcome.
