Finally Listening

I'm still unemployed. 15 months. Amazing. I've come really close to being hired many times, it's been between me and two others on numerous occasions, but I just don't get picked. So why is that? What's wrong with me you might ask. Am I that big of a problem? Heh, no. Actually, I'm a pretty good employee/manager who has a lot to offer with skills in a hot market. Jesus Washes the Apostle's Feet

   About a month ago I ordered some prints from http://www.ldscatalog.com/ .  The prints I bought were only one dollar each and were 11X17.  It was very enjoyable being on the site and looking at all the choices I had.  I ended up buying 15 or so prints from the Book of Mormon  and New Testament.       As I was on the site and looking at all the prints, I came upon one that made me gasp inside - Jesus Washing the Apost... D&C 25: ahead of its time

          Last Thursday while I was in my Doctrine and Covenants class we were discussing the social conditions of women when D&C section 25 was revealed through Joseph Smith (1830).  Woman, in general, were treated very poorly by today's standards, none were allowed to vote, and any position that would put a woman in authority over a man was prohibited.  Though what really struck me was the commonly held religious views on woman, such as be... So the other day, in Dr. Holzapfel's D&C class, we learned that sections 18 and 19 of the D&C were "watershed" revelations. He talked about how from these sections, Joseph more fully realized that the Book of Mormon is not an end in itself, but a means to help us come unto Christ. As I was studying my scriptures some time after that class, and reviewing these sections, I decided to skim over all of the previous sections and see if and how the Savior refers His atonement.
