Posted On 07/16/2008 11:23:34 by MaidservantX
Abraham was a man who . . Had brothers Had a father Lived close to his immediate family His wife was unable to have children Left the land of his origin, a wealthy place, for the green country to start all over Was advised by the Lord to leave his kindred Was promised by his Father in heaven to have nations as his posterity, and a land blessed for them, and that his posterity would be a force for good in the earth Was 75 years of age when he started over another time, into the dry desert Was a l... Vision of Life
Posted On 06/30/2008 16:43:59 by MaidservantX
Clear your mind.  You are going to have a vision. Find a time and place where you can relax.  Perhaps close your eyes if it helps. Please envision your best life.  Notice what you see, hear, smell, move, who you know, etc.  For many of you, you won't have to make up a thing.  The vision will be something you already know, that has been built up beginning in your youth.  You can start jotting down notes of as many things as you can acknowledge. The vision I have for... Read More

9 Things Everyone Chooses
Posted On 05/09/2008 12:25:48 by MaidservantX
I did not make these 9 items up.  This is from a book by Hal Urban titled Life's Greatest Lessons pp34-6. We're free to choose our character -- the type of persons we become. We're free to choose what we'll accomplish in life. We're free to choose our own belief system. We're free to choose our own purpose. We're free to ch... Read More

Secondly, no matter what the area is, it is not merely a black and white choice between 'I have some' or 'I don't have any'.  Rather I... Read More

How You Use Your Time is Faith
Posted On 05/06/2008 10:29:03 by MaidservantX
As I have provided advice in my blogs (take it or leave it, of course), it has been about the use of time (mortal/daily).  I then spotlighted a particular season of life -- our infancy -- and we examined it to see what kind of wisdom we could take away from it as far as time use choices in our present lives.  One thing that I brought forward is that in the present we need to spend time to honor, heal and/or build on the previous seasons of our lives. I want to note that all human being... Read More
