Alma 7: 9-12 9 But behold, the Spirit hath said this much unto me, saying: Cry unto this people, saying—Repent ye, and prepare the way of the Lord, and walk in his paths, which are straight; for behold, the kingdom of heaven is at hand, and the Son of God cometh upon the face of the earth.
10 And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the powe... Read More

No Trial is Wasted
Posted On 08/21/2008 16:11:25 by SimplifyHeartAndHome
This is one of my favorites quotes of all time and has helped me on many, many occassions.  I'm posting it on my three blogs today as it is applicable to all of us and in all areas of life.  When we look upon trials as blessings our whole understandings change and we have renewed hope and purpose.   For that understand I am forever grateful!!!    Elder Orson F. Have you ever wondered at the power of the love of the savior?  He gave his all that we could have a second chance in life.  Every drop, every tear that fell on that garden ground was there to allow us a second chance in life.  Can you imagine a pain so intense, so agonizing and great that it made every single pore on the body weep blood?  I was told that to have one square inch of skin in that much pain would put an ordinary man into shock in the hospital, and yet he ha... My journey
Posted On 03/25/2008 19:20:48 by wsvirtue
Seven years ago I started a journey to find the life I abandoned at age 19. I looked t the Lord to heal me with his stripes and to love me with his mercy. I have felt so much pain during this journey, unspeakable pain. I've been at the point where I just wanted to be gone to not feel anything. Recently I've gone through the most pain I've ever felt with my family being broken apart! I have layed on the floor crying uncontrollably, crying to God to ease my burden and to lead my children and I thr... Read More
