Moving Along

There is a song in the Primary hymns book, "I am like a star shining brightly, shining for the whole world to see, I can do and say, happy things each day, for I know Heavenly Father loves me." What does it mean to be a shining star? I thought it meant to be someone that everyone looked at, to have all the world facing you, and that is what it means but just because people know that you are different does not mean that they will except you. Unrest and questions

I was listening to the news this morning and caught this troubling flash of news from Obama.  I ordinarily do not say much about politics, but this one caught my attention immediately.  Obama has said he wants to start a youth civilian security corp on the news.

Looking Beyond The Mark

Political Affiliations and Discernment

     I don't think mixing political biases and religion equates to a merging of "Church and State" when discussed by private individuals, or groups of individuals who are not in a position of public office.
