Feeling alone

Some times I feel so alone, I feel like the world is coming down on me and I don't have any one I can count on to be there for me. It really hurts.I guess I got really caught up in feeling sorry for my self and lonely, that I lost track of who I was. QUESTION:
What did Lucifer mean by saying to God, "I will be your son," when asking God to use him to be savior of mankind? Why didn’t he just say, "here am I, your son" or did I just misinterpret the verse?
