Gardens
Posted On 06/29/2008 10:55:43 by Aurorasungem
What a week.  So many people around me struggling, working on things and trying hard to set lives straight.  One rises on new wings, one falls into the pits of darkness and is trying to find the right direction, one falls ill and cannot seem to find the answers to why, and all seem to be at different stages.  Odd thing is, again today the gardner was mentioned.  A garder of full meaning in this day and age.  A story was told today of a currant bush.  The bush was b... "The Standard of Truth Has Been Erected" - President Boyd K. Packer - Gen. Conf. Oct. 2003 - "The Standard of Truth Has Been Erected"

some for the Baptist. 'In the midst of this war of words and tumult of
opinions,' Joseph Smith wrote: 'I often said to myself: What is to

06-24-2008 Christ, the Atonement and His Relationship with His Father.    4 years ago I contemplated the miracle of childbirth and fatherhood.  With new found emotions and feelings never before felt, I realized that a very real void had just been filled.  My marriage, up to that point, seemed fulfilled and at times joyous; thus I did not understand that I was incomplete.  I didn’t realize or know that I was not filled full. The birth of my son and later that of... Read More

Surviving divorce
Posted On 06/14/2008 16:11:36 by djhalb
I am in the middle of a divorce. My wife, who is not an active member and has opposed my membership in the church has left me and has taken with her our 8 week old baby for another man. She took the baby out of spite for me discovering her cheating. This is the scripture that I have been thinking a lot about: D&C 122:7 And if thou shouldst be cast into the apit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the bdeep; if the billowing surge...
