Well my baptisam was a great day, I finally found what was missing in my life. For a number of months and years (when I think about it). Often we Protestants, and especially we Evangelicals, criticize LDS for seeking a spiritual feeling whenever you want to know what is true.  "The Bible says, I believe it, and that settles it!" we like to exclaim.  However, I find this practice refreshing and biblical.  The most dramatic case in point is Acts 2.  Here are dozens of followers of the Way (Jesus) babbling and expressing great emotion, and 9AM.  Peter stands up and says, "THIS is THAT which was prophesie... In the last few months have discovered a wonderfull thing, about this thing that we call life. Have any of you ever wondered about heaven, about how it will be like? can you imagine yourself there? As I recall both Adam and Eve were with Heavenly Father in the begining, but because they ate fruit of the forbidden tree, they gained the knowledge of good and evil, in other words when they gained that knowledge, they seperated themselfs from Heavenly Father, leading to their spiritual deaths. I was saddened to see an attack of thoughtless malicious name-calling on the members of the LDS church on this very website a few days ago.
