Be patient in afflictions

Have you ever felt like you have too much on your plate? That too much is required of you? I have definitely felt this, especially in stressful times at school or with sports or even with relationships.  There are times where I feel overwhelmed and I just look forward to getting through the day.  Joseph Smith felt similarly, especially in the very beginnings of organizing the Church.  He had so many responsibilities that I imagine he often felt stretched out too thin. If you're like me, it's important to organize the hours of the day in order to maximize life and the happiness of it.

However, I don't like to suggest method without first contemplating philosophy.  I have a testimony that the only life giving philosophy is the truth of the Gospel.

Our Father in heaven -- since he is our Father -- is guiding the development of his children.  That's us! 

There is, of course, a gap between where we are now in our growth, and the fulness of our potential.  Our Heavenly Father (and his servants) are interested and busy in leading us to the next step, and step by step, closer to him and closer to our own maturity (exaltation).
