It is very likely among people to adjudicate christianism with the "apparition"of Christ and not to "the Christ". I mean, not holding that christianity comes from far more long times than Judaism is to deny the whole definition of "dealing" with men that the Christian God within the bible shows. One of the concepts in LDS theology deals with such situation. It is very common in this Church to accept as "old God's purpose", this to say, something that was instituded from the very foundation of this world in it. When studying the hebrew conception of the "gospel", we find there is no such thing. In this, they claim, the "law of Moses" is all God has or will reveal. The messiah to come will be one of political(some mythical) characteristics who is "said nowhere" within the old testament, that is going to save the world but Israel. They seem to find the texts of the Torah whether too literal or too symbolic. By this is obvious that they have "lost their own tradition's meaning'. The Torah(and Old Testament) show that from the very beggining of this world, with the apparition of Adam, also appeared the "dealings of God with man". According to the Bible, BoM, PofGP and D&C, it is our belief that the way God dealt with men or expected men to follow has ALWAYS been the same. It would be a very weak argument to say that God changes His ways according to each person or nation. Yes there are "adaptations" of the gospel, but as to how is preached there or the focus, but never a major change. Well if not a major change, then there are "little changes"! Well, no. The changes i reffer to are those of external variables, as to clothes, songs, instruments, technology...but not changes in the very nature of the messege. Christianity has always been there. Arqueological reserch can show it. But some may say that its not proof that such religion existed before(as Jusaism), but that former religions SIMILAR arised before and Judaism and Christianity copied or applied AGAIN SUCH PRINCIPLES AND ADOPTED EVEN THE SYMBOLS. A very common example of this is the symbol of the crox. Though i do not agree with it being the "seal of christianity", its very historical to say that its been used. ts origins are from egyptian, asiatic, and also precolumbian groups. But this proves to nobody that it was a christian concept from former times, but that Christianity adopted it as it arised. We may find a lot of Christian refferences and findings, both historic(arqueological) and theological in precolumbian cultures. One of the many books about it is Seven Claims on the Book of Mormon, not only influenced by lds religion but HISTORICALLY CREDIBLE. It states findings connecting DIRECTLY the citizens of America with the Jews , their LANGUAGE(corrupted hebrew), their temples(one found equal as Salomon's), their rites(baptism), their cults(jewish resembling ceremonies of sacrifices), their literature(as the Popol-voh, the mayan "genesis"so similar to ours), their order(ecclesiastical, theocratic, with lines of priests, highpriests, "prophets or living gods'), their gods(One of them over all the others, the Incas' Trinity, the Aztecs' Crucified Messiah)their genealogies(Toltecs'claims of being israelites), and so much more. We may also find many of the bible myths there, not only that but their arquitectonic part, their houses(as those of the jews), their pyramids(as those egyptians), their way to prepare the dead(as that of mommies in egypt), and many others as well. I agree with the claim that not only Christianity has always been somehow present in this world, but that also the Lord lead people from many other cultures ans taught them as well as the jews. It is my claim that the BoM is true, that the Bible is true and God reveals Himself to men. We can also for my fellow Christians mention few passages that resemble the reasoning why such gospel was before preached, as follows:
