Drama Drama Drama
Posted On 01/08/2008 23:13:41 by lisajo
It has been a week filled with drama in my house.......

My 18 year old son broke up with his girl friend of a year, The saddness of it all I tell ya, i never realized How Emotional boys could be when it came to a break up...He did the breaking up because she is way to young and she wanted to much from him that he could not give her, He is realy hurting over this....we went for along drive and i told him when i was that young i did not know what love was...I told him what maturity leavel a girl like her has, and what i did when i was her age to get attention.....I didnt think it helped much till later after he called my hubby and my husband called me and said..... boy you said some good things to him... he said "man Dad Mom really knows what she is talking about" O MY GOSH ! Well he seems to be doing better now....As for our other Drama my 13 year olds grades were very bad...Now i have been working hard with him in the last year, but for some reason he just cant get into school work, I went to a parent teachers meeting and again for the umpteen time we dicussed what we could do for him....... I came to a conclusion he's is grounded till he shows improvement ( and thats not all ) and if he doesnt show improvement i am going to school and watch him...I was told this was a good idea from the teachers and they highly recommend it.. I'm not sure about it yet, but my son has it in his mind that it will happen, so maybe it is a good scare tactic.... All those hours working with him after school and at night have not helped GRRRR I have never had a kid get bad grades so in the last year this has been new to me, .............

It always seems like the most drama happens when my husband is out of town....he wont be back till tomarrow night so i just have to hold down the fort again............he does have a cell phone but it is so hard discusing these things when he is out of town
Have a good day Ya'll!
