3 Books of Enoch
Posted On 05/08/2012 14:37:35 by
I've read plenty about the first book of Enoch, and rightly so, as it was part of the found Dead Sea Scrolls, and obviously, Joseph Smith had some insight into it, in his lifetime. Even thoug, it hadn't been rediscovered yet while he was alive. What can I say? He was Prophetic. Anyway, I'm looking for some insight on the 2nd and 3rd Books of Enoch. There are so many version out there, and many are from "authors" that I wouldn't really trust on these matters. I'm wondering if there is a definitive version somewhere, or at least one that would be considered recomended reading by the Church. Heck, if it wasn't for Augustine, 1st Enoch would have been in the Bible, so I'm guessing there has to be some historical significance within the Church, at least for the 1st Book. I would like to find a colection of all three, that I can read, if for nothing more than fun infomational reference. Any ideas?
