There is no lasting happiness in only having or in getting, but only in giving with the right spirit. Blessings, Gar

Cyber-Social Waters

I hope that those who read this will sense humble appreciation for being a member of LDS.net.  There are many people that I respect who contribute regularly to LDS.net's forums and Blogs I want them to know how much they have contributed to my so-called "Blog-Forum Education". Before I signed up with LDS.net, I had absolutely no experience with a social web site. I had written and contributed a few hundred scriptural "home-made" messages [similar to Blogging] meant to uplift and inspire others that were sent only to my friends which had its rewards.

I wanted to reach more people than I was at the time, however, and I began searching for ways to do that. I didn't know at the time, that it was possible to post my writing on the Internet.  I am usually a reserved person and cautious about contributing my material to people that I am not sure would to read my style.

Nevertheless, I have learned that the cyber-social waters aren't so bad. It has been an education for me to learn to post on the Forum and to Blog with LDS.net. After observing how other members post material at this site, however, I have learned how to be more open and eager to share my writing with total strangers.

The patience of a few seasoned LDS.net members has helped me and I have enjoyed my growing experience with at LDS.net. It is my humble hope that I will have many more growing experiences with my circle of friends at LDS.net.
