Posted On 10/11/2012 15:06:31 by sorcor
Is there anyone out there with a cheating spouse? I need some support and not sure where to go. If anyone could give me some info, I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you suspecting that your spouse is unfaithful or do you know this to be the case? The greatest thing I did for myself was to seek counseling from LDS family services. I have good insurance coverage but your Bishop can also help to arrange help if you don't have insurance. No matter what you're going through, I know how painful and humiliating it can be. Please know that you are never alone and if you need an anonimous shoulder to vent to, write to me any time. nellieasay13@gmail.com. I wish you peace in your life.

I can only tell you to seek out a person you know and trust a real friend or go to a counslor and seek help. I went through this in my first marriage when my wife enjoyed being with other men. I also have endured the issue of inappropriate activity from my wife with another individual. she did not physically cross the line but she did do inappropriate behavior with him. I discussed this with her and we talked and we grew to understand what each other considers inappopriate behavior according to each of us, the gospel and the prophets. I know this is hard. I know that forgiveness and saving a marriage is hard at times like this. each situation is different and each person needs to evaluate the situation and with the Bishop and prayer decide what the appropriate action to take will be. Speak with you Bishop and seek LDS counsling. Seek the help of your Savior through prayer. Stay strong no matter what in the gospel and keep your testimony strong. It will help you through all that is to come yet before you.
