lol. i went with a friend, and we decided i should go first since she has had her lip peirced 4...yes 4...times. i didn't see the needle until AFTER i was peirced. the girl who did it walked me through everything. i was laying down, and i could see her watching my breathing and i could tell exactly when she was going to stick the needle through. she was awesome. then my friend is like "whoa, i've never seen anyone bleed that much!" and the girl explained that she had to peirce with a 14 gauge, and my stud was a 16 gauge, so they didn't mesh up, but yeah, i was bleeding a lot. lol.

then i watched my friend get her lip peirced for the 5th time and said "wow, i'm glad i went first, after seeing that needle i wouldn't have wanted to do it." lol

and thanks my mom is "accepting" it lol. she hasn't said too much about it. just calls it that "thing on my lip" but everyone says it really suits me

I used to have my lip pierced, but it was in the middle. My gosh was I traumatised! I had no idea what to expect so when she shoved what looked like a three foot pole through my mouth I was less than calm. I just sat there going "UUUUHG UUUHG" until she bunged the stud in, and I promptly fainted! I can look back and laugh now, but boy was I upset for days!!

Gotta say though, yours looks waaaay better than mine did
