Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be! REPOST with name of high school and graduating year!
Graduate of Healdsburg High School - 2000
 (Senior Picture)
1. Did you date someone from your school? Went on a few dates, but didn't date anyone seriously.
2. Did you win anything in Senior's 'Who's Who'? No. I'm trying to remember why I wanted to remember high school - this is getting depressing.
3. What kind of car did you drive? Our family had 2 VW bugs - smurf blue and orange.
4. It's Friday night...where are you? At Beth & Kaydies house (sisters) or Jackie's. They liked to watch Dumb and Dumber.... seen it more times than I ever wanted to.
5. Were you a party animal? Nope, not a partier. We did some crazy things, but usually just with a few close friends, and no alcohol involved. We didn't need it.
6. Were you considered a flirt? Never. If I did it was so subtle it wasn't noticed.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Played the flute in the school band up until my sophomore year.
8. Were you a nerd?' Nope. Shy if you didn't know me, but not a nerd.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Nope they never caught me!
10. Can you sing the fight song? Yup, our leadership teacher made us learn it so we could encourage school spirit. The sad part is that I still remember it. Don't believe me? Fight on...To victory... We're going to win today, here's why. For... the red & black... The Hounds are going in to do or die. Win....or lose today... We're going to try and fight that same old way. And... with all our might... We're gonna fight, fight, fight...rah! Fight, fight, fight... rah! On to victory!!!!!!!!
Ummm..... yeah my memory is crazy like that.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Two: Ms. Baker - Ceramics & Mrs. Pearl - Leadership
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Mainly our Senior Court, but sometimes visited other groups of friends in their natural habitats. (Picture of my in Senior Court enjoying the sun: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2030/2248436586_7ba280d666.jpg?v=0)
13.What was your school's full name? Healdsburg Senior High School
14. School mascot? Greyhound - how wussy is that!
15. Were you on homecoming court? Um, no.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No way, I've learned too much since then. I care about different things now and feel a lot more confidant.
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Hmm, I got lei'd (hehe). Our grad party was alright. They had one room with people giving massages and a corner with a whole bunch of pillows on the floor. I crashed out on the floor with a bunch of friends. When I woke up, I found that everyone had left except a guy friend of mine that stayed with me while I slept. It was pretty sweet. At the end of the night, I won a tv in a drawing. Not a bad night at all.
18. Where did you go senior skip day? Went boating on the lake with a bunch of friends.
20.Were you in any clubs? Only JSA (debate team) but mainly because the conferences down in the bay area were really fun - a bunch of kids in a hotel, jumping in the pool late at night.
25. Who was your Senior prom date? The same guy that I asked to Courtesy (Girls Choice). I didn't really like him, but I didn't have too many prospects and he was nice. 2 days after Courtesy he called my friend and asked her what she thought I'd say if he asked me to Prom. It kinda sucked cuz it was awkward knowing that he liked me when I didn't like him. I don't remember much of the night, but that I felt bad for him. 26. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Not quite sure. It could be fun if people have grown up a bit, but I doubt they have. We'll see. I still have 2 years.
27. Who was your home room teacher? Senior Year 1st period was Civics/Econ with Mr. Petrano - a short little man who loved what he did. (Pic of my friend Kaydie and I in Mr. P's class: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2052/2247632407_bbc4fe0e61.jpg?v=0)
28. Do you still talk to people from high school? A few. Myspace has put me back in touch with a few more.
THINK BACK TO 9TH GRADE...
- Who was your best friend? Beth, Kaydie & Jackie (such a girl thing to have more than one huh!)
- What sport did you play? None for school. YW basketball if that even counts!
- Did you buy your lunch? Every now and then. My parents always wanted me to pack them, but I hated it.
- What was your favorite class? Drama or Ceramics
-Did you go to the dances? Nope, not until I was 16.
- Who was your Science teacher? Not specificly science, but conceptual physics - Ms. Greko
-Who was your English teacher? Mr. Langford. He had a deep voice and a really big laugh. He always cracked himself up, but not in an annoying way. He totally loved his students and it showed in his teaching. He didn't care if he was cool, but if we really understood what he wanted to convey. People seemed to leave their insecurities and coolness at the door and honestly came to have fun. For some reason we treated each other differently inside his class - none of the usual HS games.
- Who was your History teacher? Mr. Frye. He looked like a mix between Peter Gallagher and Chris Sarandon (Prince Humperdinck). He always wore a big jacket and shorts (too short) even in cold weather and he wasn't a coach or anything. When he lectured he'd put his leg up on a chair like Captain Morgan. I never sat close enough to be blinded, but it was gross just the same. Everyone thought that he hated them including me, but by the time I graduated I realised that (even with the shorts) he cared a lot about his students and just wished we'd try harder. But I still don't miss him.
-Where you a Bully or the one getting Bullied I was tall enough and well liked enough to avoid bullying. My group of friends was kinda popular, but I never felt like it. They were kinda mean sometimes to people and I feel bad that I never did anything about it even if I didn't join in.
- Who was your Math teacher? Mr. Platt - He was new to the school and fairly young, but a nerd. I think he was overly careful not to flirt with the female students so he'd hardly talk to us. Not like I wanted him to, but it was kinda an awkward teacher student relationship.
-Did you think you were cool? Nope. I always wondered where I fit in, even with the people that I called my best friends.
- Did you wear make up? Yup. I went through the phase of too powdery white with dark red lipstick. Not goth at all, more like a little gangsta wannabe. I'd like to think that I got it better figured out as the years passed.
-Describe your outfits. 9th grade was all about the beyond baggy jeans. Slowly, they tapered down a little, and by 10th I was buying guys jeans just to get them long enough. I never cared about a fashion statement, but I knew not to look stupid. Just t-shirts and jeans.
- Did you even have a cellphone? Nope, pagers had just gotten big, and I didn't even have one of those.
- What was the best about 9th grade? It's over and done with.
- Do you miss it? Nope. 8th Grade picture - pretty much what I looked like as I entered high school: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2084/2247632369_c48857e063.jpg?v=0
