My life story
Posted On 03/04/2008 08:59:40 by sporty_sari_bear
I would like to share my life story to you... but it's not what you think???????  having fun , doing all the things that you wanted to do...... etc!!  Well as for me I can't do that, because when I was seven years old , one night mom heard these weird noices ..... But when my brother and I would play a game I forget what that game is. but I was making that noice.   And I was shaking the bed ,

stuff coming out of my mouth, eyes roll back.. She was scared.... So she got me dressed and took me to the hospital.. I woke up in the hospital... They said to my mom she had a Grand Mal seizures ,
that was the first sign of my seizures, and taking medds..... but back then I could do alot of fun things , and do whatever I want, because I didn't have as much of them... Until I think it was highschool. but i would still have seizures at night when i was little... in public school I got called names etc.. whatever you can thinkof I got!!!!    and highschool wasnt any better.. I was in the special ED. program for special needs.. I was there for sevens years..

By the time I got to grade 10, it was a nightmare, because my seizures were bad , and i would fall in the hall ways, and they would laugh at me and call me names... Ihate it but i got it all the way untill I left highschool... pretty much!!!! Last year I had surgery.. not just one but two in one month
one was ..that i had wires in my head to see where they were coming from.... I had that for two half weeks.. and then I had the big surgery ... where they took a peice out, but it was only like between 1 to 2 cm...

but I was afarid to share it to everyone because at home they're afaird they can catch it whatever i have... but you cant catch what i have... and im writing a book on... You cant catch it..
they think they can.. and they dont take their time to sit and get to know us , so hopefully
my health blog history .. helped you to understand .. Thats why i cant go on a mission...
which sucks. so we all have trials in life ..

hi sporty_sari_bear, first i'd like to say thank you for being my friend. and for all your posts and comments--as of now i still have two friends in this site and you are one of those. I would invite some soon but just got no time too much. I'm really sorry for all that trials you have to endure in your life, i understand deeply how hard it is and i cant even imagine how could i handle if i were you. But as i said in the blog, God gives us trials according to our capacity to handle it. and i know you just have that much strength to carry the burden of your health condition. But this is what i am going to tell you that i learned from my hardships too. All of us will always have trials and challenges in life but for us LDS it's never gonna be so hard with the Gospel and the help of the spirit of the Lord to lift us up, we recognize it as blessings for without it the purpose of life will be defeated. but one thing's for sure, if we accept the kind of trial in our lives having a perfect brightness of hope that God would someday make a miracle for us--just have a never ending strong faith--we accept the Lord's call to be His instrument to try other people too. I just feel that as we are tried other people are tried too, perhaps the Lord uses people to test other people too in the way we treat and deal with one another, the best example there is our compassion and love-we need to see or to be with other people's situation to test our compassion and love--get what i mean? so for those who cannot accept your situation and did not treat you right like how the Lord would treat you if He were here--then they have a more challenging situation for themselves to the Lord. and they have risk to eternities. i hope i explained it right but i am trying my best here because i am not an english native speaker. but in conclusion, i know the Lord has prepared something great in His kingdom for you that is beyond what our eyes can see. But i'd like to qoute what sis. Tanner said "While it may be true in some instances that our promised blessings will be fulfilled only in the eternities, it is also true that as we search, pray, and believe, we will often recognize things working together for our good in this life."

I hope and i pray that you are having a better health situation right now--we will include you in our prayers. in this kind of situation where we dont see each other personally the best help we can offer as it always will and the first thing we can do in any hard cases is prayer. There's no other help we can rely to but it's always the Lord's help. May God Bless us always.. Cheers!

a book is a great idea, and mabe books aimed for different age groups. people are afraid of what they don't understand but are always able to be enlightened, and you arent alone. heavenly father knows what you are experiencing and feeling, and he makes a way for each of us to fulfill our missions here on earth. have you heard about the new family history missions? you can do that even if you can't leave your area.

Sari, it can be a bit scarey watching someone have a seizure cause you feel so helpless and you don't know what to do and whatever you can do isn't very much.

Ignorant cruelty is just the pits though. It's a bit worrying that the kids you went to school with though seizures were contagious and I think your school could have done more to help with that kind of ignorance.

There are some great people in history that also had seizures and they didn't let it hold them back. Go for your dreams. It may take some extra planning to work ways around things, but online missionary sounds a pretty nifty thing to be : ) .
