My muse beat me with a stick!
Posted On 03/07/2008 01:37:11 by SMG

I was about to lay down and go to sleep when this poem started forming itself in my mind.  Of course, I had to get up and write it down.  Now i want to share it!  Feel free to comment!

Green-Eyed Monster

I'm not afraid of you,

you monster in the mirror!

You look at me with eyes of green

and shout "Boo!"

All I can do is point and laugh...

at you.

Things have changed now,

didn't you get the memo?

As for things under the bed,

there's nothing left to dread.

(Well, aside from that years old crust of bread!)

Ya see, I'm a big girl now

and I don't believe in monsters!

Just one thing tho?

Who takes away my bathroom mirror every morning

and places a portrait of Medusa in its stead??
