Isn't it awesome....
Posted On 04/27/2008 12:58:45 by MsMagnolia

Isn't it awesome that even though we may disagree about things like politics and social things. That we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can always agree about the important things? Things like a belief in our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ. That Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he restored Christ's gospel to the earth again. That we are lead by  prophet today, even Thomas S. Monson. That the Book of Mormon is true! I was just thinking to day, we all have our differences... each of us are in a different stage in our lives... but the common thread in all our ives is the Gospel. What an awesome thing to have in common. To have the TRUTH, to have the ability to work our our salvation and to return to our Father, who loves us all. The little differences fall away in the face of that common thread. It is so awesome!

We are so lucky to have the truth and to be able to come together all over the world in this knowledge. Letting our differences and cultures not interfere with our beliefes of the restored gospel.

Magnolia, thanks for this testimony and reminder.  I love that fact too (that the gospel is what brings and binds us together)!
