7months and couting
Posted On 05/09/2008 20:25:07 by dont_take_girl

Let see Ryan is now 5months old.  He is very active little boy.  He loves to bounce up and down on your lap.  He is teething so it is stressful right now.  He does not like to sleep so some nights I dont get a lot of sleep.  With chris gone is a little stressful right now.  My mom helps out a lot.  She sometimes puts him to sleep and if he has kept me up she will take him downstairs.  I live in a townhouse which is two stories.  I talk to Chris about two-four times a week when ever he can get on.  He comes home soon.  In about 7months or so.  I am so exicted.  I cant wait.  The last 8months have gone by so fast.  Maybe the last 7months will go by fast.  I talk to some of the other wives which helps me out and also talk on here which has made the time go by fast.  Sorry if I go on and on.  I am just so happy about him coming home soon.  We have a picture of Chris on as the background so he will know daddy.  When he calls i put the phone to Ryans ear.  Ryan talks to everyone that is on mommys or nana's phones but when daddy calls he is quiet as a clam.  When Chris is on the computer over there and we are talking Ryan wants to talk to his daddy by pounding on the keys.  Chris loves but wants to see us but messenger wont work with it.  So I send and post pictures so he can see him.  I also sented him a carama so he can take pictures.  That is all for now from the army wife

Thanks for sharing what your life is like.  Hang in there, sis.

It makes my heart ache to read about husbands gone from their families.  My brother served in Iraq for a year, plus training out of state on top of that for a pretty long time.  It was hard enough on me, I can't imagine how it was for his wife and kids.  Prayers for you that the time will go quickly for you and will be well spent!  :)
