David Archuleta Goes Home To Literal Pandemonium!
Posted On 05/10/2008 12:10:18 by LdsNana

There is no other way to describe what happened in Utah, when David Archuleta went home for a recent visit. PANDEMONIUM!

David Archuleta was overwhelmed to tears, by the repsonse that he received upon coming home to Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday.

It was "David Day" in Utah! Murray High School was in attendance big time. Cheerleaders gave David a big big group hug!

Come on over to the hub and check out the video of "David Day"! It is awesome:-)

I just love this kid for so many reasons.

Hi Keith -

I feel the exact way about David Archuleta!  I really look forward to following his career, whether he is "dubbed" THE American Idol or not -  David Archuleta needs no title to proclaim his gifts and future.

Thanks for commenting here.

Also, I hope David knows how much his fans are also supporting him, with what is going on with his dad being banned from American Idol rehearsals, etc...  Certainly, no one is judging David.

The family just has some kinks to work our.... I guess:-)

Hi Bethie -

That sounds sooo exciting.  I watched just a little clip on YouTube of the day's activities and it was awesome.

I hope that you don't mind, but I posted your comment from here actually on my David Archuleta blog!  I want others to know what it must have been like to be there.

I hope others that were there will come over and share the day with us over at hubpages.com

David is truly an amazing young man and a wonderful example for young people today. I love his genuineness and honesty. Each song that he sings is heartfelt. I believe that he will go far in his career and I also believe that he will be an amazing and wonderful missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wish for him all the best in all pursuits in life.

I live in Salt Lake and yesterday there was a 2hour special on the local FOX channel about "David's Day".

It's such fun to watch him.  He is so REAL.

I believe he will win "Idol" and become a national star, kinda like a "LDS Elvis".  He will be a great ambassador for the Church, just as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has been.

Like he was asked yesterday, "will you serve a mission?", he answered innocently and truthfully, "I feel like I already am!"
