Mother, Happy Mothers day!

Mother is a wonderful word full of meaning and light

mother is the childs hope, the source of great delight

mother is the one who brings the child here on earth

mother is the one who raises child up from birth

mother is the one who gives when giving is not easy

mother is the one who bears the brunt of sick or even queasy

mother is the one who cleans, scrubs and bandaids knees

mother is the one who prays head bowed with fervent pleas

mother is the one who works without a dime of pay

to give her children food and clothes and to let them play

mother full of sacrifice whether adopted, birth or friend

to you today our greatest thanks for your love we send.
