The Church, Prohibition and prop 8

Beloved Apostle passes

Beloved Joseph B. Wirthlin passed on Dec. 2, 2008. He was the oldest living Apostle at 91. He passed peacefully in his sleep. The funeral will be on Dec. 5, 2008. It will be at The Tabernacle Temple Square. I believe he was loved by all and I for one will miss him.... Read More

Riddle me this,

I am wondering what makes wearing a bikinis okay?  I know it's a strange question but hear me out.

I understand that we're aiming for modesty while still feeling good about ourselves, which is great and more power to you.  But with the tops women wear to the beach improved to tankinis (good job girls) to show that it's riske to wear two-piece suits because it shows off the stomach and the chest too much.  I think it's appropriate to look down...
