A Statement of Faith: Purification
Posted On 07/23/2008 21:41:55 by OneEternalSonata

May the joy of my heart burst forth as the fountains and day-springs of everlasting water! The Great Redeemer surely hath spoken peace unto my soul; he hath cleansed the corruption of sin from the walls of my tabernacle, in spirit and in clay. Be not puffed up, O, my heart; be not exalted of thyself, O, my soul. Remember, remember the days of thy youth, and the days of thy sojourn of childhood. Cast thine eyes upon truth, and count not the steps between. God hath led thee by the hand; he hath encircled thee within his robe, yea, the garment of his love is ever open unto thee. Therefore, stand ye in the ways of valiance; be not idly minded neither slothful in the observance of his commandments. O, soul be still and be ye steadfast, lest ye be deceived and Satan sift thee. Jehovah hath lifted up his banner; hope hath become my vanguard. Thirst not after the filthiness of the world, O, heart, rejoice and be thou quenched by righteousness unceasingly!

OneEternalSonata,

This is such a beautiful Psalm.  It says it all... thanks for sharing.
