Posted On 08/24/2008 12:36:28 by Kirajo

So at the beginning of the summer I made a list of my top 10 things I hoped to do during the hot 3 month vacation. Here is the list:

1. Visit L.A., Disneyland and the beach for the first time
2. Camp at Warm River and float the river
3. LAGOON as often as possible
4. Learn how to play Golf really well
5. Meet my new uncle and his family
6. Learn as much Spanish as possible
7. Teach Anna some sign language
8. Learn to bake fun desserts
9. Climb a tree!
10. Read The Host and Breaking Dawn

And here are the top 10 things I ACTUALLY did this summer :)

  1. Went to L.A.
  2. Laguna Beach!
  3. Camped at Warm River
  4. Met my new uncle and his family
  5. Read Breaking Dawn ( loved it )
  6.  I didn't learn to make any NEW desserts...but I did perfect my chocolate chip cookie recipe. :)
  7. Taught Anna how to walk...and run..and climb on furniture. ( okay I guess I can't really take credit for those)
  8. Frequent trips to Lagoon and the water park.
  9. Went to a Bee's Baseball Game
  10. Lost weight

Yay! Although I didn't do EVERYTHING on my original list, I got to do other fun things that made up for it. So long summer!! Hello, Fall! ( my favorite season!!!)
