Things missed
Posted On 09/07/2008 00:35:58 by GhostRider

Went to a rodeo tonight. The thing that kept running through my mind is how much that I missed it. Played a joke on someone. One of the guys there let me wear his chaps. Took a picture and sent it. It was funny in a way. Then he told me that I should come up and ride the next one. A few of the guys and I talked for a while. When they asked if I wanted to ride and told them yes they all started to talk to other guys in the arena. They were all like.."Hey, If you need chaps, or riggin or a glove or a vest go see so and so." Pretty soon all these guys were showing up and telling me that if I needed something to let them know.  I also got alot of "If you ride we will help ya tell ya what the bull is gona do" I was kinda blown away. In competitive rodeo such as the PRCA I got to see a little bit of this. I also got to see the cowboys..and even the little guys riding sheep and calfs take a knee in the areana and pray. IT was a very humbling experiance. I've been to a few rodeos but not alot of them called the riders for prayer. It was kinda neat.

Well..time for bed. Untill then...
