I had a past
Posted On 09/26/2008 14:54:52 by impactplayer

I wasn't forchanit enough to be born in the church. I had a life before I joined and for 22 out of the last 24 years of my life its been looking out for # 1 and that was me. I did things that made me laugh, I got into fights and I did a lot of things that most people that grew up in the church ever got near or touched. A big reason I am makeing this open is because I must get it off my chest. There is a reason a lot of converts do leave the church shortly after joining. Its because the adustments where too hard and they had nobady eles not even in there famaily suppoting them. I see it in my ward and the stake as a whole, but I stay because my testomony is so strong and the missionarys that come in are always helping me. GOD BLESS THEM because with out them I would be gone too.

Get it all of your chest!  Say all that you need to.  There are many people that have a past and will relate to you.  Its good to read your comments.  You are not alone.  As you get to know people better, they will confide in you the hard times they have had.  This life is a life of tests and you can guarantee that noone goes without trials, everyone has a story to tell.

Hugs, and well done for making your comments public.  I would love to chat with you sometime.
