Wish I Made It

&nb sp;     The road was long and so I thought I'd stop and rest.

no sooner did I lay my head down that a dream began to come to me.

In the dream I was close to the end of the road, golden gates and rich flowing streams ly off in the distance. I know it was a dream by the way of a wild imagination. Never did I think at this roads end marked eternal bliss and everlasting happyness.

&nb sp;     After an hour I woke up and was crownded by the mobs of people attemting to make it on the long road home. People came with jackets and umbreallas, but the sun was shining bright without cold or wet forcasts in sight. There I stood, like that in a nice summer day, when from out of nowhere a gust of wind blew my hat away.

&nb sp;     I then realized I was not ready for this journey. The road was long and I was not aware of the obsticals I might find. Hardships after hardships harder it was to find, food for my journey, and a spot to sit and dine. The other people passed me and I could just let them walk by because i would hold them up if they dragged me on the side. The road was a long one indeed and I'm glad I tried to make it. Though I was ahead of the crowd, like the hare, lazyness struck me down. And then as I shot for the streach I reallised how unprepared i was to make it till the end.
