Music and the Gospel

As I have learned to better recognize the spirit throughout my life, I have noticed that it expresses itself in different situations and under different circumstances but always testifying of truth and of Jesus Christ.  One way that I often feel the spirit is when I listen to music with lyrics of which it can testify.  Hymns have been very important in defining my testimony.  I have learned simple truths from them and each time singing them, my testimony is confirmed and strengthened.  Christmas Carols are especially significant at this time of year as they praise Christ and remind of His love and His promises.  I know it may sound silly, but I am so grateful for Christmas music!  I just feel so good listening to it and is a gentle, daily reminder of my Savior.
