Come What May
Posted On 12/11/2008 13:24:13 by reese
In the most recent General Conference, Elder Wirthlin gave a talk titled, "Come What May and Love it."  I loved this talk.  It reminded me that life is not just to be endured, but enjoyed.  There are so many trials and hurdles in life but we must not give up!  In order to do this, we must be filled with hope.  Hope that everything will work out right; hope that God is in control; hope in Christ's atonement.  We must be happy, rely upon the Savior and make the most of what we have.  This is what I got out of Elder Wirthlin's talk.  I am so grateful to have been reminded of this at this time in my life.  There are so many wonderful things all around me.  I need to take a step back, regain an eternal perspective and cherish the little things.
