well i have been here in cali for over two months now. im looking for a job. i also need my drivers license. i need money for insurance to drive legally. i need to drive to get to work. not really. i can walk or ride my bike but the options are very limited seeing as i live way out on a farm. so im looking for a job. nobody seems to be hiring right now. as of now i have applied to 12 locations. i have gotten one response back saying they dont have any postitions available at this time. i really want a job. i really could use the money. my feet are getting blistered from walking some near 2 hours to the location where most of the places i have applied to are (i prefer walking to riding my bike) so some new shoes would be nice. my internet access is somewhat slight as we are borrowing it from the neighbors and i broke my adapter for my computer. i have some debt i need to pay off. i have money in a cd account but cant touch it until june so that is unfortunate. my jeep doesnt even start right now-it needs a jumpstart. i cant use it for the drive test- its uninsured. my family doesnt have time to take me for it and so it would seem i will have to rely on some of my friends to help me out with that. the simplest answer i can see for all of this is to be able to get a job asap in which i could ride my bike to/from to pay off my debt and get some income for insurance and everything else. which brings me back to the economic state we seem to be in. i never expected finding a job could be this hard. i guess all i can do is trust the Lord and keep going at it until something opens up.

My suggestion to you would be to keep a positive journal.  At the begining of each entry write down 5 thing that happened that day that were positive.   Then write down how you noticed the Lords hand in your day today.  Once you start noticing your blessings, the more blessings will come to you.

Also realise that every penny counts... if you see a penny pick it, and then you are a penny richer the you were before...

You have great faith in making a transition here in California. If you are a member, check with the local stake employment rep.

Good luck....
