End of my D&C class
Posted On 04/14/2009 23:15:26 by Jonathan_A

Today was the last day of my Doctrine and Covenants class and I am sad that it is ending.  I am suprised at how much I did not know about a book that I consider scripture and the prophet to whom the revelations were given.  There probably still is much I am unawhere of but hopefully I will continue to learn more and more as I continue my own study of the scriptures.  That is for the best, it is good that a man should continue to learn throughout his life, and that is precisely the plan of our Father in heaven.  Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little, until we come to a fulness of knowledge.   These past two semesters that I spent learning about the D&C were very rewarding and I learned so much, which information I have been recording in the blogs I have submitted over the past several months.  I encourage anyone who reads this to look over my previous blogs so that what I learned does not simply stay with me, but rather that everyone may profit from it.  You'll have to excuse me for any gramatical errors there may be, but I assure you that the information is correct.  I'd like to close by bearing my testimony that Jesus Christ is the savior of mankind and the only source man can look to for a remission of his sins.  Christ has made it possible through his sacrifice that we may return to the Father's presence better than we ever were before.  I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the church which Jesus Christ directs in this age and the fulness of the truth has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith and exists today in that church.  Thomas S. Monson is the prophet whom the Lord directs today and will not lead us astray.  I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God as is the Doctrine and Covenants.  I seal this testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
