So many unhappy ladies.
Posted On 05/15/2009 09:07:59 by LonelyGargoyle

Seems everyday another lady posts a sad, maudlin account of her unhappiness.  Whys and wherefores??

But think of this:  In the arms of an extraordinary man you have cause to weep no more.

hmmm.... ya know... sometimes women do need to "vent"... and so do men. but i also think that there is too much of a "woe is me" attitude. Life is hard, we are told to endure to the end :) when the end is... i dunno.. but i do know that if I focus on the savior and his teachings that my burdens will be made lighter, not taken away. The Extraordinary man in all our lives should be the Savior. Just as Lbybug said.

Just some random thoughts.

um, maybe it was just me, but i thought the man in the quote was referring to Christ....cause he did so much for us, took upon our sins and sorrows.  but maybe that was just me...not sure where you are all getting that this man talked about in that line is one of ya'll or someones boyfriend or something.

NO!!! Men do not a pedestal any more than do women. I am a dude looking for a woman, but I don't want weeping and I am not extraordinary (far from it).

El, is right. Men are too often blind to the tragedy they leave in their wake. In the same way, women are just as blind. We all need to open our minds and hearts and see the needs of those in our lives.

"Whys and wherefores???" Women (and men) post in blogs for a million reasons. I post in the forums often to provide reader-clarity. But that is my simple reason, no one needs to be simple or to explain. YOU are asking too much.

???  Even if you have a really great guy, all kinds of things happen. Sometimes you weep WHILE in those arms, sometimes those arms are the reason for weeping.

It seems every day another man on the internet pretends to be extradinary, when, in fact, he only wants to mess with a woman's head because he needs a distraction from his own maudlin life. He has no regard for the mess he leaves behind. I know of two such "relationships" just from this board, and no, none of them are me. My bitterness is for my friends, who can't see it until it is too late.

Ok, Here's a sad Man's story, all my adult life I got rejected by girls/women/ladies, even the one I thought would stand bye me through thick and thin. devorced me, after only 3 years of marriage, for anothter looking man, buter bet then after 2 years he abused her, badly.  So now the tables are turned.

lol

Perhaps it is because men think they can "fix" things...when women talk...  and women talk just to "share" not to be fixed.  We dont always want a solution!

:)  The real question should be.... where are all the extraordinary men? :p

I guess women, having greater social needs than men are prone to share and seek comfort in the exchange that takes place in forums like this. It is often times women whom are abandoned and left by their husbands.
