Can bones crumble with age?
Posted On 06/02/2009 20:27:45 by gigi

Last Friday I got all motivated and rejoined the gym for an extended period of time (and a great rate). I was so excited to start my summer with working out. I tend to like to work out the first thing in the morning, but I already get up at 4:30 and I have sleep issues. I thought if I could get in the habit in the summer that by the time school restarts I'll be hooked and will find a way to make it happen. Saturday morning I woke up with a sore arm. Probably slept on it wrong, I thought. Then I heard a click when I rotate my hand. Hmmmm, went to get an x-ray yesterday. I went to an Urgent Care and saw a PAC (???). He wasn't sure. We saw a hairline crack looking thing that he thought might be an old healed wound. He sent it to the Radiologist, so I won't hear back for a couple of days.

Really, all I wanted to do was get together with a good trainer and get a new workout schedule. You'd think I was trying to go to the temple (LDS folk will know what I mean - Adversary likes to put things in our way so we don't go get all spiritual and serve). Maybe my little bone structure is just crumbling away and soon I'll be a pile of little parts and pieces held together with cottage cheese (if you get my drift).

I did go do a little cardio and leg machines today. Can't do anything where I have to move plates just yet.

Sigh....guess I just wanted to vent. Sniff.

Thwarted again!
