Part of me has been feeling a need lately to kind of share some of my story with people, if they feel like hearing it lol. I'll just put it in short, if anyone wants to hear more, simply ask. I was raised in the Assemblies of God church. I was raised to believe that the Mormon faith was nothing but a large cult. When I was young, my mother attempted suicide on more than one occasion, which started me to question my faith. At 14, I started in my roller coaster of research. Looked at many other religions, dabbled in witchcraft and the occult, managed to even be listed as a paranormal researcher by the age of 17. I had many good and bad experiences spiritually, but it was in my paranormal studies and such where I really got an idea of what else exists in the world. It also brought me into situations that made me realise more and more that Christ is the only way to salvation. A couple months ago, I started to pray that God would show me the right faith and what to believe in. I started to see commercials for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I had never given it too much thought before, except a bit when I dated a Mormon girl back in high school. We had broken up partially because we couldn't agree on what to believe. She wanted a temple marriate, I didn't know if I even wanted to be a part of the church. Anywho, I saw the commercials, saw ads on the internet, and started thinking about it more and more. Finally I decided to start doing the research. Long story short, I'm on my way so to speak. Recently started talking to the missionaries about being baptized. I've never seen things so clearly in all my life and God has really been doing many things for me lately, great and small. This is really a church I can say is true.
