Miracle in Poland

This is an edited version of an experience a member of the Tabernacle Choir several years ago.  She says:

"Miracles usually don't happen to me. This is probably so, because I have not wanted to bother the Lord by expecting one. Even as a member of the Tabernacle Choir, the only miracle I personally felt was that great joy of singing. I haven't experienced any more of a miracle than this--until the choir's concert in Warsaw Poland.

I enjoyed the concert in Warsaw and the spirit of the Polish people. I wanted to visit with them more after our concert, but because of the Choir's hurried time schedule, I didn't. I only had time to hand out a few Article of Faith cards to some of the Polish people who visited us after the concert.

My daughter was serving a mission in Poland at this time and wrote often concerning her respect for the Polish Saints. One letter received from her tells of meeting a man in Church who expressed his gratitude for the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. He told her of his recent experience hearing the Tabernacle Choir's concert in Warsaw, Poland. He said that at the time he was searching for truth, for something that would bring him happiness and peace in life. He said the message presented by the Choir, the Spirit he felt and the Article of Faith card he received from a Choir member was an answer to his search.

He was taught the Gospel and baptized. My daughter was present. Just having him baptized was a miracle. However, it was even more monumental as my daughter went on to describe more details concerning the miracle of his baptism. The Article of Faith card he'd received from a Choir member had my name on it.  She explained that the kind Polish brother hadn't known that I was her mother until a few days before his baptism. His happiness in learning the Gospel became even more meaningful upon realizing God's love for Him.

Miracles to the Lord are very simple and easy to achieve. After all, He knows everything even the blades of grass are numbered unto Him and when a sparrow falls from a tree,  He knows of it.

We can all be blessed just by asking God for His help in our search for happiness. He knows exactly what we need and will bless us.
