A Welcoming Spirit
Posted On 11/05/2009 21:22:54 by Angelagiftedgirl
Have you ever felt lost or afraid because of extremely bad decisions you made? Perhaps you thought you could never find a way out of the horrible mess you found yourself in. Maybe you thought that even your Heavenly Father would turn His back on you. I'm sure many of us, or someone dear to us, has felt that way. I find myself now in a similar situation. As you know, or can imagine, the ache of feeling like you are a failure can seem unbearable. If you are an LDS woman, maybe strength and renewed conviction came through your Sisters in the Relief Society. When you can turn to someone you trust, whom can share a timely word, or by various other ways help you scale that insurmountable chaos, the burdens you carry can appear to become lighter. Sisters, let us remember to share a welcoming Spirit with each other. Pray that we will always have that right Spirit. For you never know who suffers in silence. But Our Lord knows. And He is that loving Father who is always ready to welcome a wayward, yet repentant daughter or son. If we love one another as Our Savior loves us...our hearts, our relationships and our lives will become sweeter.
