I am a Protestant Christian, raised Lutheran, and currently working in a Methodist church. I am interested in a variety of theological issues, including heterodox Christian sects, such as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Armstrongism, and the Jehovah's Witnesses. By "heterodox," I do not imply a completely negative judgment on these sects, but rather that they deviate from the historic faith of Christ's Church. I truly believe there is room for meaningful dialogue between orthodox Christians and other groups. On a personal note, I have known some Mormons, and they were all wonderful, godly people.
