Due to my deafness, I read body language. Beside watching him speak through closed-captioning, I also looked at how President Uchtorf's body language matched how his facial expression was as he spoke. First of all I see that being a pilot for a long time had given him the skill of calmness through all types of weather in the skies. Secondly, his ability to remain calm had given him humbleness while Uchtorf spoke carefully. His facial expression had displayed his shinning happiness. Our Lord had led him to the right career which had given him the gift of a remarkable speaker as one of the valuable members of our church. We, including President Monson, are very lucky to have him other than Eyring, too.

However, tell me, readers - if you don't mind - what was President Uchtorf's voice like? Does it match his body language and facial expression well? Smiling...

Yes he has a happy voice. A voice full of love. YOu also hear the humor in his voice as well. Thank you Vida for putting into perspective for me something I take for granted.

Thank you for the wonderful description of this speaker's voice. Next time when I watch him on the screen, I will remember your statement and that would make me very happy!
