it's not a microchip that has power over your soul, it's the strip on your credit cards. can't do anything these days without credit. and when you follow their advise and mess it up they own your soul.
of course you can transfer your soul ownership to a lawyer who will "fight for your rights" and get you out from under the thumb of the credit agencies. then the lawyer owns your soul, but that's a much better deal than having to pay up. right?
i think if we follow the advise of the prophets and don't get into debt, be accountable for what we owe, have the things we need to be as self reliant as possible we'll be just fine.
