) but I have never used, nor heard anyone else use (real-life people, that is...
) the term
letter carrier or mail carrier.
Nor
will Iuse the term. I like mail man.
I had a wonderful mail man in Naples. We had several delightful conversations. She shared my love of dogs.
There will
always be
something that offends
someone. Other than being considerate, polite, loving, caring, respectful of others, I do not believe in changing a language/culture to be
politically correct.
