Actually, a "
Thanks" really is different than a
LOL, IMO.
When I give a "
Thanks", it means (to me) that I am agreeing with the sentiment expressed in that persons post.
On the other hand, when someone posts something I do not necessarily agree with, but says something humorous, THEN the
LOL would be appropriate, but not the "
Thanks".
I could use the
LOL button on numerous posts, but I am more selective with my "
Thanks".
Also, I really do not like interrupting the flow of a thread with a post that is just a

or a

or a

...
sooo, I understand if a
LOL button is not do-able, but the "Thanks" is not the same as a
LOL.
