Due to the very personal feelings ( obviously rightly so ) as well as deeply sensative and close ties you have with this history, I will very respectfully, very lovingly, and very warmly simply say thanks for sharing your perspective with me.

God bless,

Every person that is alive to day has some tragedy in the family history as well as their personal lives. Most pages of my family history are filled with joy – even my great great grandmother. I am lucky because I know my family history.

The only point I wish to make is that there is something wrong with a person or organization that find profit and joy in publishing and wishing ill of others. I do not believe Christians consider nor do such things. Sadly the LDS are not the only peoples to suffer during this time. When “Christians” came to the Americas there were about 40 million Native Americans in North America – today there are less than 4 million – and we called them savage.

I do not want to dwell on the past any more than to learn enough the make sure that such things are not part of the future – In this quest I believe you to be an ally. I look forward to your posts and I hope you and I can discuss deeply our understanding of things. I believe that one cannot learn if they only discuss important things with those with whom they agree.
