You do understand, don't you, that if this were a police state, the following things would be true:
* You wouldn't be reading about police abuses in the media.
* Incidences of Police abuse would never be investigated.
* Police who do stuff like this would be acting under the authority of the state, instead of exceeding their authority and getting punished.
Mullenite, your own links prove that we are not in a police state. I suggest you do a little history reading to find out what a police state is, and what it is not.
