If you are any kind of a news buff these days, you will know that Israel is always surrounded by news. A lot of it is bad, while a lot of it is good. Also linked with the news of Israel is Iran and their quest for nuclear weapons. Some feel that Iran is justified in their quest for nuclear weapons, while many others claims that Iran should be held at bay and not allowed to get their nuclear program finished. The reason for this is because Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a really bad habit of giving speeches to the Iranian people that incite the masses to chant “Death to America, Death to Israel, Death to England, and Death to Denmark.” Jan 13, 2007, July 21, 2007, Sept 22 and 23, 2007 One such speech was given on the eve of Mahmoud’s visit to America last year when he was to speak at Columbia University. During another speech given on August 3 2006 President Mahmoud said-

“The Fire of the Wrath of the Peoples is About to Erupt & Overflow & the People
Will Soon Rage; Today the Iranian People is the Owner of Nuclear Technology” Memri Special Dispatch Series No. 12

In another speech, Mahmound said, · "Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury."

Now this kind of sediment isn’t hard to find in the time of google and internet. I typed in President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - fire of the Islamic wrath” and got pages and pages of documents of speaches that he’d made. Truth is, to the world, Mahmoud is very warm and fuzzy, while to the Iranian and Muslim people, he reveals his true side.

Now there are those that say that I have it all wrong. That it is Israel that is the real problem. It is Israel that is the warmongers. This is a lie. In 1981 Israel attacked Iraq’s nuclear plant because Saddam promised to use the bomb on Israel. Israel attacked on Sunday when they knew the plant would be closed. During the bombing raid, only 1 person was killed, and the lose of that one life was a regret to Israel. While Iran is chanting Death of Israel, and that they are worthless and should be wiped from the planet into the sea. It is Iran that people rejoice in the street when 2 planes hit the twin towers. So should we allow them to have the bomb?

I am writing this thread so that people don’t get confused. In the future, Israel is going to get some bad press. It might look like they are the evil ones. But I have gone to the Word of God to find out who this Israel really is. They are God’s covenant people-

I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. Ezekiel 37:21

You will live in the land I gave your forefathers, you will be my people, and I will be your God. Ezekiel 36:28

And I will multiply the number of people upon you (Mountains of Israel) {They started with 600,000 back in 1948 and now 60 years later they are at 7,282,000, according to figures} even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. {Right now Israel is the 12 riches country in the World} I will cuase people, my people Israel to walk upon you. They will possess you and you will be their inheritance, you will never again deprive them of their children. Ezekiel 36:10-12
In Ezekiel 37 the prophet was caught up by the Spirit of God and taken to a valley of dry bones. Ezekiel looked at a multitude of dry bones, scattered by wind and rain and wild animals and wondered what God had in mind by bringing him to such a place.

God then asked the prophet a strange question, “Son of man, can these bones live? The prophet gave the careful answer, “O Lord God, You know.

God then told Ezekiel to prophesy to the valley of dry bones and the bones began to clatter and clack. An arm bone rushed to join its mate, a thigh bone snapped to a leg bone. Broken ribs came together, crushed skulls returned to their original state. Next the prophet saw sinews and ligaments grow over the bones, then skin. In moments, the bones were miraculously changed into human bodies, complete and whole, but they did not move or breathe.

Then God spoke again, “Prophecy to the breath…Come from the four winds, and breathe on these slain, that they may live. Ezekiel obeyed and breath came into the bodies and they opened their eyes and lived.

Then God said to Ezekiel, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, “Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!” Therefore prophesy and say to them, “Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

The prophecy is concerned not with Israel as individuals, but with Israel as a nation. The Jewish people were scattered throughout the world like the bones in the valley, but God brought them back together in 1948. J. Vernon McGee noted, “They have a flag, they have a constitution, they have a prime minister, and they have a parliament. They have a police force and an army. They have a nation and they even have Jerusalem. They have everything except for spiritual life.

At this moment, the Israelis can be compared to the bodies who lacked the breath of like I n Ezekiel’s vision. They are physically complete, but they are lacking the breath of spiritual life itself, for they have not recognized the Messiah.

In Isa it reads, “who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such a thing? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day. Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?

This is the revelation about Israel. The nation being born in one day. May 15, 1948. Before that it was Palestine.

So who is Israel. God’s covenant people, and God has watched over and protected his little flock. Many time Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and others have made moves to snuff out this tiny state, but with the help of God’s Almighty hand, they have failed. In a sense, Iran and others are fighting against God. How else can it be explained. Israel is out numbered 100 to 1. So either the Arab nations are inept, or God is watching over and protecting his children in the last days. Luckily, America is on the side of Israel. God told Israel, “those who bless you will be bless, and those who curse you will be cursed. But the days are coming when there will be a major war between Iran, Syria and Russia against Israel.

Mother Shiften penned back in the 1600’s-
In the air men shall be seen,
Around the World thoughts will fly in the twinkling of an eye,
Women dress like men and trousers wear, and cut off all their locks of hair,
When pictures look alive with movement free,
When ships like fishes swim beneath the Sea,

Bottom line, I want to be on the side of God.
