Yes, it is good counsel. However, why should we have to go looking for such things, when all the info we need has already been provided a hundred times to us in recent Conference talks?
This talk may have been one actually given, but there have been many "talks" pass through the Church making claims that end up being false.
Let's abide by the instructions of the Church, and focus on the official teachings given, so each of us can ensure we are getting the straight truth, and not something diluted through an unknown, possibly unreliable source.
