It really is that black and white. Hamas targets civilians on purpose. Israel often lets the bad guy get away because an attack might jeopardize innocent Palestinians.

Yeah, Israel should just nuke Gaza and get it all over with.
What seems very improbable to me is that a man can get close enough to fire a rocket from his shoulder into an Israeli community and Israeli troops cannot get to him on the ground, they must resort to blowing the whole block away. It's not like these targets are tanks or helicopters, they are men with small arms.
