No matter how wrong Texas authorities were, and no matter what delusions the FLDS live under, it is quite simple. The FLDS live a lifestyle that is either illegal or heinous that even a society as perverse as ours considers it immoral.

Pointing to the fact that, "they're bringing spirits into the world" as evidence of their goodness is fallacy. It does no good to bring spirits into the world if you can't care for them. And by the lopsided statistics on their welfare consumption, it's clear that they can't care for their children. Rant and rave about persecution all you want. When they formed their Church, they had the warning that continuing the practice of polygamy would bring the downfall of the Church. So it will be with their religion.
