Isn't having the Spirit with you about the basics? It is the promise of the sacrament. It is about the depth of our scripture study and our practicing that of pondering and prayer. It is attendance of the temple and magnifying our callings. It is applying the Spirit to every step of our walk and doing the things that invite it and preserve it. It seems to me that it isn't as hard as it seems. Having the Spirit with us always is rather simple. It is about the efforts of the adversary to disrupt the process and our willingness to fortify our lives against the influence. For me it has been scripture study and regular temple attendance that has most enhanced my Spiritual capacities.
